Didn't realize it was that black and white. Makes you wonder - was it the fact that JT wasn't physically there, or was it the moral deflation that comes with assuming the shiny new addition to the fleet is broke? I think both.<BR/><BR/>Don't think I buy the fresh legs/preseason wall excuse. Also don't think the loss of Holly contributed to Jansen looking lost or Samuels getting thrown into Campbell like he was practice pad. <BR/><BR/>Personally, I think what we faced on Saturday was the closest to a complete starting defense we've faced all preseason, and the fact we got absolutely dominated is a bit disconcerting.<BR/><BR/>Ultimately, though I'm glad it happened for the same reason you mentioned. We can't enter this season the way we entered 2006 - overconfident.<BR/><BR/>And besides, although we looked God awful on just about every play, after watching the replay (yes, it was just as hard the second time, if not more so lol), you have to give some credit to Carolina.
